Application

Hy-Lok P Series plug valves are characterised by their particularly small dimensions. In comparison to ball valves, they have practically no dead spaces. Plug valves are used in applications in which contamination of the liquid or gaseous medium has to be prevented.

Reliable shut-off without contamination

Hy-Lok P Series plug valves are made as standard in one piece of brass or stainless steel and are easy to clean and service. They have practically no dead spaces in which medium residues could accumulate. The valves are closed by a 1/4 turn of the handle so that the handle faces in the flow direction. Actuation requires minimum torque.

Pressure:	up to 206 bar (3000 psi) at 21°C (70°F)
Temperature:	-23°C to 204°C (-10°F to 400°F) *
