Safety Devices – F53N-ES and F53N/H-ESAV619 Series

Application

The F53N-ES and F53N/H-ES Series safety devices provide protection against flame flash-back and extinguish flame blow-backs in gas supply systems. They are employed in gas supply systems with corrosive gases, such as fuel gas or oxygen, in the chemical industry, in the laboratory sector or in process technology. The devices can be installed in any position. The ambient temperature must not exceed 70°C.

The F53N-ES and F53N/H-ES Series safety devices are designed without check valve for minimum working pressures upline and downline of analysis devices.

F53N-ES and F53N/H-ES Series safety devices extinguish hazardous flame flash-backs by means of flame arrestors (FA) of sintered chrome-nickel steel. The temperature-controlled cut-off valve (TV) extinguishes flame blow-backs.

Plant Safety and Explosion Protection when Using Combustible Gases

RF53N-ES and RF53N/H-ES Series safety devices extinguish hazardous flame flash-backs by means of flame arrestors (FA) of sintered chrome-nickel steel. The temperature-controlled cut-off valve (TV) extinguishes flame blow-backs. In addition, the formation of potentially explosive mixtures in the gas supply is prevented by gas non-return valves (NV). The RF53N-ES and RF53N/H-ES Series with filter in the gas inlet offers protection against contamination from the gas supply during long service lives.

Application

F100N-ES Series safety devices are employed in gas supply systems in the chemical industry or process technology. The devices can be installed in any position. The ambient temperature must not exceed 70°C. F100N-ES Series safety devices provide protection against flame flash-back and extinguish flame blow-backs for hydrogen up to 17 bar, e.g. during flame spraying.
