Relief valves
Relief valves are not safety valves, but protect pressure vessels or pipelines against an inadmissible increase in pressure. They open and close steplessly. The opening pressure can be set using different colour-coded springs.

Relief Valves – RV Series
Application
The RV1 Series relief valve for the low pressure range is suitable for a pressure range from 689 mbar to 17.2 bar (10 to 250 psi) and the RV2 high-pressure valve for a pressure range from 15.5 bar to 414 bar (225 psi to 6000 psi).
Reliable Shut-off
The stop of the opening element minimises the load on the spring. Various end connectors are available for the 700 Series check valves.
