Check valves

Check valves from Hy-Lok, the majority of which are spring-loaded, allow the flow direction in pipelines with liquid or gaseous media to be reliably controlled and limited. Depending on the spring, the opening element opens at different pressures and opens the flow passage. Check valves reliably prevent a back-flow of the medium opposite the flow direction.

Application

The O-ring sealed Hy-Lok 700 Series check valves are suitable for a working pressure of up to 206 bar (3000 psi) in the versions CV1 to CV4, and up to 137 bar (2000 psi) in the versions CV5 and CV6.

Reliable Shut-off

The stop of the opening element minimises the load on the spring. Various end connectors are available for the 700 Series check valves.

CV1 – CV4:	up to 206 bar (3000 psi) at 21 °C (70 °F)
CV5 – CV6:	up to 137 bar (2000 psi) at 21 °C (70 °F)

Temperature:
FKM:	-23 °C to 191 °C (-10 °F to 375 °F)
NBR:	-23 °C to 121 °C (-10 °F to 250 °F)

Nominal opening pressure:	1/3, 1, 3, 10, 25 or 100 psi
Connections:	1/8 to 1 inch
Materials:	Stainless steel 316 or brass

Hy-Lok compression fittings
Tapered NPT pipe thread (male and female thread)
Tapered ISO pipe thread (male and female thread)

Each valve is tested for the opening and closing function using nitrogen.

The opening element has an elastomer seal to ensure a reliable shut-off. The stop of the opening element minimises the load on the spring. Various end connectors are available for the 700H Series check valves.

Application

The Hy-Lok 700A and 701 Series check valves have a one-piece housing and are suitable for a working pressure of up to 206 bar (3000 psi).

Reliable shut-off with adjustable opening pressure

The Hy-Lok 700A and 701 Series check valves have a one-piece housing and thus reduce the number of possible leaks. The 700A Series also has an adjusting screw that allows the desired opening pressure to be set individually. The detent screw locks the setting. The stop of the opening element minimises the load on the spring.

Pressure:	up to 206 bar (3000 psi) at 21 °C (70 °F)

Temperature:
FKM:	-23 °C to 191 °C (-10 °F to 375 °F)
NBR:	-23 °C to 121 °C (-10 °F to 250 °F)

Nominal opening pressure:
701 Series:	1/3, 1, 3, 5, 10 or 25 psi
700A Series:	3 to 600 psi, depending on the installed spring

Connections:	1/4 or 1/2 inch
Materials:	Stainless steel 316 or brass
