Application

TG Series valves are used for fast opening and closing (open/closed control) and are employed, for example, for sampling or as shut-off valves.

Fast opening and closing

The TG Series toggle valves allow quick and positive on/off control of media in applications with average pressure and temperature ranges. They are available as manually or pneumatically actuated valves.

Pressure:
Type TG1 / TG2	up to 20 bar (300 psi) at 37°C (100°F)
Type TG3	up to 13 bar (200 psi) at 37°C (100°F)

Temperature:
O-ring of Viton:	-28°C to 93°C (-20°F to 200°F)
O-ring of Buna C:	-53°C to 93°C (-65°F to 200°F)

Materials:	Stainless steel 316 or brass
Spindle tip material:	PTFE (standard)

Attention: Differing technical data for valves with pneumatic control head!

Straight form (standard) or elbow form (90 °)
Various connections (Hy-Lok compression fitting, NPT male and female thread)
Various bores and flow coefficients (0.11 ≤ cv ≤ 0.7)

All toggle levers are tested with nitrogen at 1.1 times working pressure.
The maximum leak rate during testing is 0.1 Ncm³/min.
Hydrostatic test of the housing with 1.5 times the permissible working pressure
